When Painting Outdoors, our artists leave the confines of a studio and take on a variety of natural subjects to paint from. Landscape, seascape, animals, people’s portraits. Our artists are familiar with many drawing media and painting techniques: pencils, pastels, oil sticks, as well as acrylics and oil paints.
When Renoir and Monet moved their easels out of doors, their work inspired the Impressionism movement
and showed that elements of nature can bring out the best in an artist. Techniques will be demonstrated in the paintings, and you find your own interpretation of the landscape, portait or wild life animals.
